So last night I was inspired to make a plush for my bestest friend. She'd often joked about hugging a pillow or imaginary plush of me when I couldn't be there to get hugged to death; she even drew a little picture of what I would look like as the doll!
Starting yesterday, I couldn't stop from gathering supplies and getting started with what I had. My supplies are completely from what my mom had laying around the house, so now, I'm just working on sticking needles into the head of the doll of me and trying to get stuff to stick together and not fall apart. (This better not turn into a voodoo doll though, cause that'll put me in some deep shit... O_o)
When I finish, I'll post the series and give it it's own folder to live in, but once it's posted, you'll get to see why I'm so amazed that this doll is looking A LOT like the picture I'm working off of as inspiration.
I have little to no prior experience with sewing or doll making and my family is even more amazed than I am at the results I'm getting from this plush. It' results resemble the picture so well, it kinda scares me... O_O
Almost makes me not want to give it to my friend.

I just hope she's careful with it once she gets it!

So many hours are getting put into this and it's sooooooo amazing!
The arms and legs are stuffed and ready as soon as the body is made, and the head is almost done. In my estimations, I'm halfway done, but the body will probably be the hardest... O_O It's a long bodied hoodie, hood and all.
WISH ME LUCK!
